Calcein Deep Red™ AM ester - 1 mg

Calcein Deep Red™ AM ester (1 mg) is an advanced, non-cytotoxic, cell-permeable viability dye designed for live-cell imaging, high-content screening (HCS), flow cytometry, and fluorescent microscopy. Upon entering live cells, intracellular esterases convert the AM ester to a highly stable, far-red fluorescent calcein derivative retained in the cytosol, enabling robust detection of metabolically active cells.

This far-red Calcein variant reduces spectral overlap with green/yellow fluorophores (e.g., FITC, GFP, YFP), making it ideal for multicolor panels, deep-tissue imaging, and high-contrast live/dead assays.
